Landing
Landing page is a customisable web where you can include content, such as registration form, agenda, speakers, videos, images and all the type of practycal information. Please, note that personalisation of a page has limits (click for more information).
The difference between Landing and WebApp is that Landing page doesn´t have a login feature. However, it is possible to protect the information with a password. You may select a password for some sections or the entire landing page.
How to create our landing?
Configuration
To start the creation of our Landing, let´s check out the section "Website" in our navigation menu. First thing, you´d want to do, is to click on "Configuration" to activate it. On the same page, you can activate the password to make your page private.
Also, in this section, you´ll have to select the home page for your website. At first, there´s only a generic one to select from - "Home". Then, while creating different pages, we can select a different one. In case of adding registration form to the website, it will be the generic page.
Pages
When working on this section, we have to think about what kind of landing we want:
- A landing that contains a single page in which there are different sections (divided by widgets) and we navigate from one section to the other through the menu or by scrolling.
- A landing with different pages/sections that have to be accessed through the menu buttons.
If we choose the first option, having the "Home" page created by default is enough. Then, each of the sections that we want to include in our landing will be worked on within it. If you choose the second option, you would have to create a different page for each section: within "Pages" click on the "Create page" button and write down the title that you want to put on it (how to make the landing navigation menu is explained later).
Once the page(s) have been created, to the right of each one of them we will find several actions: preview - edit - duplicate - switch urls - delete. We can also see how the page is turning out by clicking the link under "URL Slug".
To work on the page, we have to click the button "Edit": in the configuration window we can edit the title and other information, and in the content window we work directly with widget and all of the content management.
- Edit a page - widgets
Once we are on to editing the page, we´ll work with so called "Widgets".
Widgets are elements of a page that can contain texts, images, agenda, countdown clock etc. These content sections are to be put inside of widget containers which help to keep contents organised. So, what we should first - is to create a widget container which we fill with contents.
Within the edition of the content of each page, we have to press the "Create new widget" button and then "Widget container" and give it the title that we consider right according to the information that it will contain. Once the container has been created, we will be able to introduce different types of widgets, taking into account that each one of them has a function. To do this we have to click on the "+" button which is on the right side of the widget.

As explained above, each widget has a specific function so that it does not give any errors. That is, if we want to insert an image, we will have to use the image widget, if it is a text - the text block, if what we want is to insert an agenda, we will have to insert the "agenda list" widget, etc.
The first widget that should be put would be the "Page Header" widget. Page header contains the menu of the different pages or sections and is the one found in the top navigation bar. In three paragraphs you will see how the menus are generated and what their function is.
Both the widget containers and the widgets have a "Design" tab, within the edition of the widget, in which we can configure size, colors, etc. They can also be moved, duplicated, or deleted.

Above the widget containers we can also see the "Preview" option, at the top right, which we always have to use to see how our landing page looks on different devices.
Finally, when creating a widget container, it´s better to be clear about the name to be able to associate it later with the menu. For example, if we create a widget container with the event program, we could call it "Program", insert the agenda listing widget inside the container and create the program: title - individual agenda item. Then, in the menu, associate the "Program" button with our container.
If the landing is in more than one language, remember that you must use the "Language selector" widget.
Menu
We use menus mainly for the header and the footer of our landing. However, it is possible to create more, if necessary.
Once we generate the page header widget and assign it to the menu we want to display, it will appear at the top of the landing page. They are the links that redirect users to each section (or page) that we create in the landing (for example: Home, speakers, how to get there, sponsors...).
To create a menu, within this section, click on "Add menu" at the top right and give it a name (if we only have one menu on our landing, the best option would be to call it as is).
Once we have created the menu, we will work through the "Edit" option that we find on the right side.
- Elements of the menu.
The elements of the menu could be the different sections that you´d want to appear: home-programme-how to get to the venue etc.
To create each element, we should click on "Add element" on the top right part of the menu and introduce the contents. The most important are:
-Title: the name that will appear in the menu to access to each part of the landing.
-Icon: an image that we use instead of text, in case we need to make a footer with social media, for example.
-Kind: URL, Widget of a page or Page of the event. By page of the event we mean one of those that we previously create in the "Pages" section
-How does it open: current window or new window
Design
"Design" is a page where we can edit the visual part of our landing. In this section we can find:
- Colors. Here we edit the main colors of our landing. We recommend you to set the colors in this section and not in the widget settings.
- Background and Logo. In this section we can upload the logo of our event or company that will appear on the top of our page, as well as the landing background. The background could be a color or a personalised image.
- Font family. The default font family of the landing is Roboto. However, you can select an option "Customize font family" and see a selector of various fonts we have currently availiable.
- CSS. Here we can personalize the styling of our page, using the written code
