Segmentation of users by groups

With evenTwo it’s possible to segment users into different groups, so that we can target some of the App contents to specific attendees. This includes segmented notifications, personal agendas and other targeted information.

These are the steps we need to follow:

• 1. Enter the Attendees section (top menu) and click on Attendee groups.

• 2. Create all the groups in which you’d like the attendees to be segmented.

• 3. Return to the Attendees section and click on Import.

• 4. Fill in the fields requested on the excel template.
  • a. If the users have already been created in the App and you just want to assign them to a group, just fill in the email column so that the system identifies the user, as well as the group column to assign them a group. Please note that the group name bust be written exactly the same as in the Backend.

  • b. If the import is being done from scratch, fill in the mandatory fields to create a new user: name, title, email and password.

    

• 5. Select file and fill in the fields as indicated in the Attendees tutorial. In the case of updating just the user groups, uncheck the Update all box and check the option Update custom data.
