FAQ: Attendees



How can I create a new user?

Access through the Content Manager to the Attendees section. You’ll find it at the right in the upper blue bar. To create a new attendee you shall click on + Add new. A list of parameters will open, and as mandatory fields you’ll need to fulfil: name, e-mail address, title and password. The rest of the fields can be completed by the attendee from their own device.

After fulfilling these mandatory fields you may click on:

Create – The profile will be saved and you’ll stay in the same page.

Create and return to list – The profile will be saved and you’ll return to the attendees list.

Create and add another – The profile will be saved and you’ll open a new user profile.


How can I know if a user has logged in the app?

In the attendees list you can see the connection status in the column Last access.


How can I show/hide the attendees data?

In the attendees list, the column Attends? shall state “yes” for the user data to be shown and “no” for the attendee to be hidden in the app.


How can I delete a user from the app?

In the column Enable you can see if the user has access to the app or if it has been removed. If you want to remove access for a user, without the possibility to log in again, you must enter their profile, find the field Advanced > Active and uncheck the box. To save data you must press Update.


How can I change the password of an attendee?

If an attendee doesn’t remember their password, it’s possible to reset it. You must locate the attendee in the list and click on their name to open their page. After the bio field you’ll find the Password field, where you can write a new password that you’ll have to confirm below. Press Update at the bottom of the page to save the changes.

Note that if a password is changed for a user that has already logged in the app, the attendee will have to uninstall and reinstall the app in their device.


How can I change the personal data of an attendee?

Just like with the password, to change any personal data or add new information of an attendee you’ll need to enter their profile page from the attendees list and update it to save the changes.


How can I add/change the group of an attendee?

If the groups were already established, you’ll just place the mouse on the Groups column and click on the red pencil icon that will show. A field will appear where you can select or remove the groups for that attendee, and you’ll press the blue tick to save changes.

If no groups existed yet, you’ll search the field Groups in the attendee profile page and click on Add new. The attendee will then be linked to that new group.


How can I change a group name?

Below the Attendees title you need to select the second tab: Attendee groups. You’ll access the list of groups created, where you can create new ones, edit names and check how many attendees belong to each group.


How can I use the filters to select a type of attendee?

You may sort attendees according to parameters such as name and e-mail. These filters are available at the top-right corner.

  •          Step 1: A dropdown menu will be displayed with all the options for sorting attendees.
  •          Step 2: Select a filter (i.e.: Has logged).
  •          Step 3: Select Yes or No to view the attendees that have or haven’t logged in the app.
  •          Step 4: Click again on Filters to fold the menu and press the blue button Filter.

It’s important to scroll down to the bottom of the list to see the total number of users. On the left side you’ll see the number of users that have not logged in the app, while on the right you’ll see how many users are being displayed in the current page. To view all attendees on the same page, you shall click the number that is showing and select the maximum available.


How can users access their profile to upload a photo or edit data?

Attendees shall slide the finger over the screen from the left side to display the side menu, and then press on their name to open their user profile and Edit account. They’ll press on the picture or the Add photo text to change the profile image and choose an existing photo from their device or take a picture right away.


How can I resend the welcome e-mail to certain attendees?

On the left side of the attendees list there are checkboxes that allow to select the attendees individually or as a whole. It’s also possible to select a number of attendees by using the filters by selecting which haven’t logged in the app yet, for example.

After selecting the specific user o users, you shall scroll down to the bottom of the list where you’ll find a dropdown menu where you can select Resend welcome e-mail. After selecting it, you shall press OK and a new screen will open where you can state the subject and paste the mailing text. Press Send when you’re done.
